Phosphoric Acid

Phosphoric acid is a phosphorus-containing, odorless and colorless inorganic acid. Phosphoric acid is a sequ frration agent that binds many divalent cations, such as Cu (Copper), Ca (Calcium), Mg (Magnesium) and Fe (Iron). It has a corrosive effect on contact with metals and tissues. For this reason, there may be harmful effects in contact with the eyes and skin. Phosphoric acid is a substance found in the structure of all nucleotides. They participate in the structure of DNA and RNA and are a group of inorganic phosphates that impart the property of being acidic to nucleic acids.

The molecular formula of phosphoric acid is H3PO4.
